Maxine, who owns the hotel, was kind and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, with proper curtains that kept the morning sun from waking me. It’s on a quiet street, about a five-minute walk from a bus stop. I’d thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking to relax somewhere peaceful without being woken by light or noise.

The room was clean and comfortable, with soft bedding and towels, plus tea, coffee and a kettle. There was an iron and ironing board available too. The shower was roomy and easy to use, though the ensuite felt a little cramped around the door and toilet if you were larger. The hostess was lovely, and it was good value. I'd happily stay again.

The Adelphi Hotel was a great base while I was working on a big job in Newcastle for a few days. Parking outside was easy, and the city centre was only a short walk away. My room was clean, lovely and a good size, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, and I enjoyed chatting with the owner each morning. Great value too. Thanks, I'll come back next time I'm working in Newcastle.

After a truly awful day, my friend and I booked this place at the last minute, and it was better than we expected. The host was kind and welcoming, and the room was comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and the servings were HUGE, haha. Definitely recommend.

The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the carpet felt lovely and soft. We were welcomed at the front door by Maxine, and everything went smoothly right through to our departure this morning. The other lady helping out was very friendly too. Thanks for everything, we'd highly recommend it.
