I’ve stayed twice and the location is so good that I consider this hotel a must. We loved the junior suite and were glad to pay the extra over our original small double booking. The reception chap was welcoming and helpful, as was the barman. Overall, I’d rate the stay 7/10. Breakfast was the big letdown, only 2/10. The welcome from the woman there was cold, and she spent plenty of time on her phone in front of guests. The chef did too. The food was poor: hard, overcooked eggs, cold hash browns, unseasoned mushrooms and dry sausage. We heard plenty of other guests complain about breakfast as well. In future we’ll stay at the hotel but eat at Wetherspoons. I can’t believe I’m saying their breakfast is better than a 4 star hotel’s. The chef seemed to have time to spare, so perhaps they could cook eggs fresh. I also preferred the car park prices when we paid at the hotel. Thanks for the stay, which was good apart from breakfast.

The apartment was lovely and clean, and both service and check-in and check-out were easy. It’s a short walk to the football stadium, close to town and surrounded by places to eat. There’s no room service, but ordering from uber eats was simple. The street is very busy, with sirens, cars and drunk people making it super loud, though it was something I could get over.

The apartment was clean, nicely furnished and well maintained, and the location is really good. I stayed with family and thought it was a fabulous hotel. There are full cooking facilities and a dishwasher, though anything from the mini bar costs extra. Definitely give it a go.

The main drawback was the heat. Even with two fans running and the window open, the room was unbearably hot, so I wouldn’t recommend these apartments in summer. The location is amazing for the train station and metro, though the streets nearby didn’t feel particularly safe at night. My experience with staff varied by person, but they were lovely and helpful overall. I was able to check in very early, which I really appreciated. Bring more than one card for check-in, as the machine struggled to read my Mastercard. Check-out and leaving my bags in storage were smooth. The room itself was spacious, lovely, clean and had everything I could need. The bed and sofa were very comfortable, the TV and wifi worked as expected, and I used the iron and ironing board too. It felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, with saucepans, a baking sheet, dishwasher tabs, plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses, mugs, a sponge and a dish brush. There were salt and pepper shakers, but they were empty, so grab some sachets from a cafe. Tea and coffee were fully supplied.

I won’t stay again. When we arrived on Saturday night and went to room 104, there were visible carpet stains and a flickering spot light. I complained at reception and was offered breakfast, which I accepted. In the morning we were thirsty, so I took two cans of juice from the mini bar, had breakfast and checked out. A few days later I found charges for one mini bottle of vodka and a small Pringles, even though we hadn’t touched either. I called to complain and was asked to screenshot the charges and send them over, but I never got a reply. I’ve had to contact my bank now. I can’t trust them with my bank details.
