Newcastleton Bunkhouse

A group of 10 bikers booked this place, and everything was immaculate with all we needed on site. We had a four-bunk room and a six-bunk room, plus a fully equipped kitchen and TVs in every room. There are four locked rooms outside for storing your kit, and the staff run the place really well and couldn’t do enough to help. The one downside was having just one toilet per room, so a shared one would be useful, but it wasn’t a deal breaker and we’d definitely stay again. There are great pubs and a bar in the village, and the food at the grapes pub was excellent. It’s an ideal base for exploring.

Our room was warm and clean, and the shower and bathroom were great. We also liked the communal kitchen and sitting room, and the bike storage was excellent. Brilliant place to stay. I’d highly recommend it and hope to come back if I can.

Clean, seemingly brand-new hostel with comfy beds and lots of space. It’s in a fantastic spot right beside one of the 7 Stanes mountain biking centres, and each room has its own spacious, secure bike store. Thoroughly recommended, though please leave us a room for next time!

There’s a playpark across the lane, and the bunkhouse is right in the village centre. The spacious bedrooms, secure storage for bikes and other kit, laundry and drying room, good showers, and comfy beds all make it a great place for a family or a group of friends. They’ve thought of everything. Highly recommended for a few nights enjoying the outdoors.
