Amanda was kind, helpful and incredibly accommodating during our one-night stay. Her cooked breakfast was delicious. We were in bedroom 3, overlooking the spacious green garden. It had everything we needed to feel at home, including a wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows, a radiator, large windows, blackout curtains and a television. There was also a kettle, a range of teas including decaf, coffee including decaf, hot chocolate, Biscoff biscuits and cold water in a glass bottle. We had to share a bathroom with another bedroom across the hall, directly opposite ours, but that wasn’t a problem. It was clean and well cared for. The Clock House is a lovely, homely place to stay. We’ll definitely come back, and I believe Amanda can accommodate dogs too.

Owner Amanda is good fun, and the breakfasts are great. The place is great to stay at. A proper shower in the bathroom would make it even better, but we’ll certainly go again.

We had to cancel because of CV, which left us gutted. The owners were incredibly understanding and very nice to speak to. We’ll come back when all this is over.
