Ecton House

Evan & Magda really made us feel welcome and helped us get the most from our time in Pembrokeshire. They know the area well and want guests to have a great stay. The house itself is stunning, with views of the Pembrokeshire coast whatever the weather. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, and the rooms were to a very high standard. Breakfast had a fantastic range of options. Ecton House was a perfect base for our weekend in Newport, and I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting nearby.

We couldn't make the most of this incredibly stylish hotel because of the COVID regulations, but Ecton House is still a fantastic place for a getaway. The view over Newport Sands is beautiful. Our well-equipped room had a coffee machine, hot water dispenser and fridge, and the bathroom was stocked with products. Breakfast was delicious and brought to the room when we asked. The owner and manager were welcoming and friendly, and knew the area really well.

We came for one night for our birthday and were so impressed that we booked another three nights for the New Year. The location is amazing, the rooms are fabulous, the hosts attentive, and breakfast lovely. Wow.

On arrival, they checked us in and gave us useful information about the local area. We were offered a welcome drink, and I chose prosecco to sip in the garden while enjoying those stunning views. A wonderful place, with hosts who couldn't have been better. Highly recommend, and I hope to return!
