We were in Newport for creative workshops at Mountbatten Hospice, and staying here made the trip feel so welcoming. The owner was a delight to talk with, checked if we needed anything, and even came to our performance and exhibition after we invited her. That kindness meant a lot to our group. Our rooms were spotless and regularly looked after; towels could be changed on request, and the owner went out of her way to help a friend search for a missing claw clip. Breakfast was continental, just right for our rushed mornings. We stayed in two rooms, including a very spacious attic room. The lounge has lovely vintage collectibles, and there's a small outdoor area where you can relax. It's an easy walk to Mountbatten Hospice and even closer to the town centre. Wi-Fi worked smoothly, and we were given a slightly later checkout for one room without any fuss. We wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else. The owners are lovely, and we'd come back if we're doing the project again or visiting Newport.

The team made us feel welcome, chapeau! We slept well in the good beds, then started the day with a tasty, healthy and hearty breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the building has loads of character. We'll be back to the IOW.

The bus station was much closer than I'd realised, which made it easy to get from my room to anywhere on the island in about an hour and a half or less. The owner was exceptionally sweet and friendly, and my room was always kept perfectly. There was more than enough space for my things before I headed out each day.

The hostess was one of the kindest people I've met, and her hospitality made the stay feel like visiting a caring aunt. She serves continental breakfast, and the rooms were clean and cleaned daily. This cosy B&B is just minutes from Newport town centre, and it has a comfortable lobby where you can sit and read for hours. Highly recommended if you want somewhere that feels like home away from home while visiting the island.

We had a lovely two-night stay while exploring the island. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and looked after us well. I'd happily recommend this B&B.
