We came for breakfast after buying the Price Is Right voucher for two small breakfasts. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing quality. I'm loving this place for the friendly staff and fresh food. The sausage was amazing, and so was the hot chocolate. They serve breakfast on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings, and it's well worth a visit. It's simply the best breakfast I've had in years. My husband is disabled and used the bathroom. It was clean and spacious, with everything he needed.

The new management has done a great job. We had a great time, with a lovely atmosphere and friendly service delivered with a smile. A perfect place to spend time with friends or family.

The Guinness was poured just right, and there’s a really good range of beers. The staff were so friendly that I’ll definitely be back.

We’d eaten at the Stag before, but hadn’t tried its Sunday roast until my family came over from the mainland for the weekend. The food was hot and tasty, the staff were very friendly, and the service was excellent. We used vouchers from TPIW, which made the meal even better value. We also tried the puddings and loved them. We left very full and happy, and we’ll be back. If you’re nearby, I’d recommend giving the Stag a try 😀

We left hungry and feeling ripped off. Five of us came in at 6.30pm on Tuesday 14th October, and were told the chef wasn’t in, so only one of the chalkboard options was available. My daughter and I ordered fajitas. The chicken was burnt, with just four small pieces over charred peppers and onions, and there was a lot of grit from the burnt food. The tortillas were so over-grilled they crumbled like crisps, there was no salsa, and the plate was chipped. My son’s burger was raw in the middle. The other two meals were okay. The waitress apologised when I complained, but we were still charged for those inedible meals. Very disappointing.
