We had a fantastic afternoon and evening at the Swan, with brilliant entertainment and good service at a decent price. It's a cracking old pub with loads of character. We slept well in room 6, the bed was really comfortable. The staff were excellent all night and couldn't do enough for us, even getting the coal fire going. We'll be back.

We were passing through and starving, so were glad to find this place. It seems popular with locals, and we got a seat by the fire on a cold day. The food was tasty and very affordable, and the wine was decent. Our toasted sandwich was generous enough for two, and the carrot cake was just as delicious. We really liked this pub.

Tina was an amazing hostess and made us feel right at home. We stayed for a wedding, and this is just our kind of pub, fun and full of character. The rooms were perfect.

What a find through Booking.com. I booked one night and stayed in room 8, which was clean and tidy, with nice bedding and a comfortable bed. My two dogs stayed with me too. Highly recommend it, and I'll definitely stay again.

We had such a good time at a family christening here. They let us arrive early to set up decorations, snacks, and a kids' area, and the owners and lovely barman were friendly. We could even joke about the mistaken identity when we told the owner it was a private event 😄 Everyone enjoyed themselves, thank you ❤️
