We spent 11 nights at Whitestone cottage over Christmas and arrived to a beautifully decorated house. Even outside, there were pretty illuminated reign deer. Anne was such a welcoming host. The cottage felt private and cosy, with extra towels and bedding and a fully equipped kitchen, everything we needed for a relaxing break. It sits between two lovely pubs, the crown with delightful food and the bishops in Brighstone, plus the thatched village and a local shop. The beach is about 1/2 mile away, and Isle of Wight pearl, tapnell farm, fort Victoria and black gang chine are all within about 20mins by car. Whether you’re after romance, family time, peace and quiet, birdwatching or a day playing on the beach, it’s a lovely place to stay.

The owners were really friendly and easy to approach, and I’d happily stay again. The house was delightful, with a well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi and Android TV. It was clean and spacious, and the shower ran hot and fast. Highly recommend.
