Invernook Hotel

We found the room spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, and the location is handy, not too far from town. But the shower, fridge and kettle were worn and due for an update. Plugs were only on one side of the room, so charging a phone by the bed wasn’t possible. The all-grey decor felt drab, not what I’d expect from seaside accommodation. At breakfast, I felt a little judged by the hostess for not wanting certain foods, and I dread to think how it might be for someone with a dietary requirement. The breakfast window was very short. I understand that with only two people cooking, but the way it was presented made us feel rushed in the morning.

For a solo traveller, this is a great B&B, in a fantastic location. My room was on the small side but lovely, very clean and had everything I could ask for. When the hairdryer packed up, they replaced it straight away. The hosts were wonderful, and breakfast was lovely and suited my needs. It’s not boutique, just brilliant, a real home from home. You won’t be disappointed.

I really enjoyed my stay at Invernook. The owners were friendly, and the location is superb, close to both the train and coach stations. My room was very clean, the bed was really comfortable, and there was a kettle, fridge and en-suite bathroom. The full English was cooked to order beautifully, with cereals available as well.

I had a perfect little B&B for a weekend surf break in Newquay. The owners were so kind and welcoming, and my spotless room came with a fridge, TV and kettle. Breakfast was great, and the location is ideal for shops, restaurants and Newquay’s lovely beaches. Would recommend!
