No.9 is a lovely house in a fantastic position, but we won't stay again. We first visited a year earlier and I reviewed it positively, but when we came back in November 2025 the place felt dirty and completely unloved. Dust was everywhere, including flat surfaces and skirting boards. The top of the J M Ray picture by the table was greasy. The twin room shower wouldn't drain, and when I checked, a foot-long tangled mass of hair was stuck to the plug. The outside windows, especially in the twin room, were filthy, with mould, algae and gull crap. We shifted one of the sofas nearer the TV and found it dusty underneath. The rear garden decking was filthy and slippery and needed a proper steam clean. Most of the kitchen equipment needed cleaning too. I messaged the owner twice on Facebook after we got back, hoping to flag the cleanliness in case they didn't know or a cleaner had let them down. He read both messages but didn't reply. Whoever owns the house presumably doesn't care. I suggest anyone considering a stay thinks twice.

It's been recently refurbished, and the house sits among the closest to the coastline. It looks over Porth Beach and has views along the north Cornwall coast.

The view was beautiful, but that was about all I liked. The place was very disappointing and nothing like the photos. I couldn't understand why we had to park in space No.9, which was nowhere near apartment 9, but by apartment No.21. That made it hard to carry our belongings to the apartment. As for cleanliness, the furniture was filthy, like it hadn't been moved in ages.
