Seascape Lodge

We only stayed two nights, and this felt like somewhere to come back to after being out and about. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, the shared kitchen was clean and had all the utensils, and the location was perfect for the beach and the main high street with its shops, bars and restaurants. I would definitely stay again. A couple of small things could be better: shelves in the bathroom for toiletries and hooks behind the bedroom door to hang things.

The beach is close by, but I won't stay here again. The noise made it impossible to sleep, and after four nights of pure agony we came home, even though we were meant to stay six. The bed was rock solid and creaked with every movement. The shower would be perfect if you were a thin, 8 stone child.

Very disappointed. There was no parking, the floors weren't clean, and we had to clean the kitchen table before sitting at it. Dog food had been left in the kitchen overnight and smelled terrible. The place felt dirty and damp, and the shower was extremely small. I can't believe anyone would want to stay in that kind of filth.

There was plenty of room for us and our friends, and the rooms were nice. It's close to the restaurants and beach. The one issue was people walking past and talking loudly at night, so earplugs would be a good idea. Apart from that, everything was great.
