The rooms were very clean and well looked after. It’s in a handy location, close to the town centre, and worked perfectly for a stay in Newquay.

We felt very welcome in this lovely house, and they’d thought of little extras, even offering eye patches and a face mask. The room was small but worked well for a couple spending most of the day out. The shower temperature changes very easily between hot and cold, so you have to be really careful.

The room was clean, well stocked and had a very comfortable bed. Each one has its own outdoor seating area, and since it’s adults only, the place feels nicely relaxed. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into everything. We’ll definitely come back.

You don’t need to bring much with you. They provide towels, beach towels, toiletries, tea and coffee, plus a jar of lovely biscuits. There’s even a little fridge with cold water waiting after a hot summer day. They’ve thought of so much for their guests. The hosts are welcoming and happy to take care of whatever you need. The room is spacious, the bed is really comfortable, and the bathroom is modern and fully supplied. They also leave thoughtful extras such as face masks and moisturiser. Plates and cutlery are available for takeaway or delivered meals, and there’s a well-kept outdoor table and chairs to eat at. They’ve shared loads of ideas for families and couples, including beaches and places to eat. Lusty Glaze is a 15-minute walk, and Island Cafe is about 10 minutes away for breakfast. This is the best guest house I’ve stayed in, and I’ll be back again and again.
