Trelinda Hotel

We spent five nights there, and Sasha and Kevin were excellent hosts. Our Fistral room was bright and clean, with a lovely balcony and views to enjoy while sitting outside. Sasha gave us helpful ideas for places to visit and things to do, and Kevin’s breakfasts were always delicious. Private parking mattered to us, and the place was quiet, well run and close to all the restaurants. We’d definitely recommend it.

We stayed as a family of four in one of the chalets in August 2023. It was like a mini apartment, with clean rooms and lovely staff. The town centre and attractions are only a 5-10 minute walk away, but the hotel sits up a fairly steep hill from the centre and beaches, so it may not suit anyone who has trouble walking or doesn’t have a car. Breakfast is served in the main building. Every day ours was fresh, piping hot and delicious. I’d recommend staying here, and would definitely return to Newquay.

The room was great, and the beach is so close that this would be ideal for surfers. The couple who welcomed us were lovely and made us feel at home. They’d also left a folder full of ideas for things to do. We couldn’t fault our stay.

The breakfast setup worked well, with staggered times so the cooked option came out fresh. There was plenty to choose from, including cereal, fruit and yoghurt. We stayed four nights while visiting family, and it was easy to get to the town centre and shops. Having parking on site was a real bonus, especially with double yellow lines on St George's Road. Sasha and Kevin were on hand if we had questions, and the B&B was spotless. They’ll change the fluffy white towels daily if you ask. There’s also an honesty bar with beer, wine, cider and soft drinks, and you can bring food into the communal area to eat. We’d happily stay again.
