FURTHER.SPACE at Leitrim Lodge

We had everything we needed for a lovely one-night break at Leitrim lodge. We added packages that were waiting in the fridge, and breakfast was delivered to our door in the morning. The pod was very clean and the bed so comfortable. Cooking dinner on the BBQ and having wine around the campfire made for a lovely escape from reality. We’d definitely come back.

We had a lovely night in the Rocky Mountain pod. It was spotless, and the view was beautiful. Check-in was self-service from 3pm. If you're heading to hen Mountain for a hike, the car park is about a mile down the road.

The pods were much like the ones at other Further Space locations, though the floor had what looked like grass left by a previous guest. The BBQ was clean and nice to use, but the charcoal didn't seem worth £10. The fire pit was okay, though it was steel rather than the brick one we'd had at other locations. The fixed benches around the outdoor table also made it hard for more than two people to eat together. We couldn't spend more than 5-10 minutes outside because of all the flies and mosquitos. Inside, direct sunlight made the pod hot, and even with the fan it took 3-4 hours to cool to a comfortable temperature. Leitrim Lodge is in open countryside between the area's two

The bed was really comfy, and the cabins had good amenities. They were well insulated, so we didn't hear any noise, and stayed warm through the night. It felt secluded enough to get away from it all, but the town wasn't far. Just a great evening for two very happy glampers.
