The hot tub was one of our main reasons for booking, so it was disappointing that we couldn’t use it. Maybe it shouldn’t be listed as a facility if guests can’t use it. Apart from that, it was a beautiful B&B, with a gorgeous room and view, a great breakfast and a lovely host.

The host was so friendly and lovely that we wanted to stay longer just to chat. Even the cat and god were a must! The suite was spacious, cosy and really nice, and the common areas had the same charming feel. After three weeks of travelling, this was easily our best stay.

The owners are really nice, and Sam cooked us English Breakfast every morning. We were there for work in Kilkeel, just a couple of minutes away by car, which was handy. We didn’t visit for pleasure, but the mountains are relatively close and you can hike there.

Samona was a lovely, peaceful place for the night. The host was kind and attentive, and the room was super clean with stunning views. Breakfast was delicious, and the hot tub was the cherry on top. Thanks so much!

It smells of manure because there’s a cow barn right in front of the house, but the place is actually very beautiful. The owner was so nice and treated us well, giving us helpful information. Everything was definitely clean, in the room and around the house. The showers worked well, the bed was comfy, and breakfast in the attic or on the balcony comes with a view of the surroundings. Fair price.
