The rooms were okay, but the mattresses could really do with an update. I loved using the hot tub in the morning.

There’s loads of room for a big family, and the hot tub was lovely. It’s close to Penrith, yet far enough away to stay quiet. A nice place.

The split-level outdoor area has a jacuzzi that was kept in good shape, though the patio was in poor condition and badly needed a jet wash. The steps up to the grassed area also needed some attention, but I’m sure those small things will be sorted. Inside, the cottage was warm and cosy, with a handy kitchen. It’s compact, and somehow seemed to have more doors than walls.

The hot tub was a lovely bonus, and the cottage was nicely equipped throughout. We had no phone signal, but the Wi-Fi worked.

A great spot for a group, and it’s dog friendly too. We had a lovely stay, with a hot tub and a huge garden to enjoy.
