The breakfast was delicious and clearly made with care, and the couple who run this B&B are so kind and attentive. Over the last decade, they’ve created a welcoming place with lots of thoughtful touches. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with a spotless bathroom and a great shower. The house itself is beautiful, and it’s an easy walk into the village for restaurants. We tried the local pub and The Letter Box, both lovely in their own way. Even with everything nearby, it’s peaceful at night. We had a fantastic stay in this stunning part of the Highlands. You deserve more than a 10, and can be proud of what you’ve made.

The bed was huge and really comfortable, and our room was lovely. The whole B&B is stunning and spotless. Eric & Lynda were such outstanding hosts, and breakfast each morning was a treat. I’m super fussy, but I’d 100% recommend staying here!

The peaceful setting made it easy to enjoy the surrounding mountains and countryside, and Dower House Bed & Breakfast in Newtonmore was a great base for my hikes. After long days outside, I appreciated the electric blanket and the tea and coffee facilities. Lynda's homemade cakes were a lovely touch, too. Eric and Lynda treated me more like family than a customer. They welcomed me with homemade cake and tea when I arrived, and that warmth continued throughout my stay. The accommodation felt cosy, and Eric's breakfasts were a refreshing change from the usual B&B fare, just what I needed for mountain days. Dower House felt like a home away from home and left me with lasting memories. I can't recommend it highly enough to anyone visiting Newtonmore and the Highlands.

Eric and Lynda are lovely hosts. They gave us delicious homemade cake with afternoon tea when we arrived, and the fresh breakfast was just as good. Our room at the Dowerhouse was beautiful, clean and fresh. We had a very good stay and would definitely recommend a visit.

Lynda and Eric made us feel like part of the family in their lovely home. Their breakfasts and tea time treats were delicious, and they even helped us pick hiking trails. They offered to collect us so we could do a 15 miler! We met lots of friendly people in Scotland, but these two were the warmest and kindest.
