We were the only guests in the house, so breakfast was just right for us. The owner was kind and courteous, and we had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and the WiFi was good, but it was a little small and the heater had an issue, so it was quite chilly.

Sally made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was comfortable and nicely equipped, with lovely views over the gardens, lighthouse and coast. Breakfast was delicious each morning, too. We only had a short stay, but Martineau made our time in Tynemouth a treat.

Breakfast had the widest choice I've come across, and the guest house itself was welcoming and nicely furnished. I'd happily recommend it, though it's a shame the place is due to close very soon.

The Priory View room has a fantastic outlook, and the rooms are cosy. It's a lovely place in a great part of Tynemouth, with a really good breakfast. I'd highly recommend staying here.
