I asked a few days ahead for a ground-floor room and they sorted that out for me. The bed was really comfortable, and the staff are exceptional, every person made me feel welcome. The room did get a bit too warm, though. I tried following the instructions for the thermostat, but couldn't get it to work. I'd still highly recommend this Premier Inn.

We were glad to find out we could have a longer lie-in on Sunday the 22nd February, after thinking we'd need to leave our rooms by 10am. That extra rest made the drive back after our Scotland trip much easier. This was my third stay, visiting Scottish friends who now live in Newcastle, and we always come down together for organised parties, knowing our beds and blackout curtains will be waiting. Thanks to the desk and housekeeping teams for such wonderful service. I hope to see you again next time.

Our family spent two nights here and had a great stay. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and we couldn't hear noise from outside or other rooms. Everyone on staff we met was friendly and ready to help.

We were in town for a dance convention at Sports Central, so the handy location worked really well. Our room had plenty of space for four, and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. I always like staying at a Premier Inn.

The price was good and the service was good, and the room was reasonably clean and tidy despite feeling rather old, especially the bathroom. The area felt quite cut off, with hardly anyone about apart from hotel guests and staff. You'll need to drive to get to places to eat or shop, since there isn't much of interest nearby.
