The service is consistently attentive and professional, with Adriana and Robert helping create a welcoming atmosphere. I come to this hotel every Thursday and have been doing so for a year. At first I just came because I was hungry, but for the last three weeks it's been Chef Jegan's food bringing me back. His cooking is full of flavour, depth, and creative touches, and each meal has been memorable. It's hard to put the quality into words. My sincere thanks to Chef Jegan for all the care and passion he puts into his work. What he's doing deserves congratulations and is much appreciated.

The room was spacious, the bed was big and comfortable, and there are facilities for filling water with still or sparkling options. Prices are keen and the staff are great. Thames, the bar manager, deserves a special mention. He and his very nice female colleague, who might have been German, served me some of the best Guinness I've had outside the Emerald Isle. A true gentleman and a lovely person to chat with.

I'd be glad to return. I was upgraded to a bigger room when I arrived, but around 10pm a gas leak from the jacuzzi bath made it unusable. The hotel was full and it was late, yet the team, especially Robert, sprang into action and moved me smoothly to another room. They also brought complimentary beer and snacks as an apology. They handled the problem brilliantly. The one letdown was the in-house grill. The food was quite bland, and the onion rings tasted like oil.

We've stayed here several times, and the staff have always been superbly helpful. The secure parking is plentiful, the rooms are lovely, well furnished, and well kept, and every room we've had came with its own air conditioning. Breakfast is well stocked and good quality. The hotel is a little further out, but getting anywhere doesn't take long. I'd highly recommend it if you're staying in the area.
