We spent a week here on a business trip and found it really relaxing. The rooms had everything we needed, and the service was great. Miranda at reception and Lindsey at breakfast were especially helpful. When we come back to Northampton for business or leisure, we’ll choose this hotel again.

The location made getting around Northampton easy, with shops, restaurants, and transport links all close by. I found the Mercure Northampton a reliable choice for a short leisure break or a work trip, and the room was comfortable. The team were polite and helpful throughout. Check-in went smoothly, staff dealt with requests efficiently, and reception could give useful local information. Some areas could do with modernising, but I’d be happy to stay again, especially for work.

The hotel is right in the centre of Northampton and has lots of parking, including space round the back for coach drivers. Dinner and breakfast were spot on, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The two young women who served our football team at dinner were especially good, as was a very new but professional receptionist. The building’s showing its age, but it still does the job.

Breakfast was a really good full continental spread, and I thoroughly enjoyed my one-night stay. The room was clean, with a very comfortable bed and a power shower that felt luxurious. Shampoo and body wash were provided too. The tea and coffee station was empty when I arrived, so I went down to reception. The receptionist brought some out straight away.

A convenient spot with plenty of parking, and the breakfast selection was good. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well looked after. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful during our short stay at the Novotel.
