City Centre Hotel by Sunday

For a gig, the location is handy: the arena is close, Rock City is about a ten-minute walk away, and the bodega is nearby. Hockley puts you right in the heart of Nottingham. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, had air con, and the bed was comfortable. It's ideal for a short visit and good value. I'll use it again, though it may not suit you if you want somewhere quiet.

It's a clean, comfortable room at a good price, right in the city centre and close to plenty of restaurants and bars. My room cost half as much as some of the bigger hotels, and had what I needed for a short stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. You'll need to go out for coffee, but there are places around the corner. My TV and bathroom mirror weren't working, so housekeeping could use a checklist before leaving rooms. No big problem, though. I'll be back next time.

We had a comfortable, clean room with tasteful decor, and breakfast came with a generous choice. The location is central and close to all amenities. Staff were friendly and attentive, with a very professional manner. We'd happily stay again and recommend it.

The location was great, and reception staff gave us a warm welcome and were helpful. But the rooms were very tired and hadn't been cared for. Housekeeping didn't follow our booking details, set the rooms up incorrectly and missed the travel cot. Breakfast was disorganised, with just one person serving; items were forgotten or not replenished. The bar stayed closed all weekend. We raised these problems with reception. The hotel needs investment and more staff to make it a good place to stay. I'd still visit Nottingham again. The hotel has also recently left the Accor Hotel Group.
