There were so many damaged things in this flat. The furniture was broken and wobbly, cupboard doors didn’t work, the walls were damaged, and even the main door didn’t feel safe. There was water leaking in the kitchen, and the internet was very slow with frequent dropouts. The carpet smelled throughout the room, and the whole flat had a sewerage smell. I was concerned this could cause breathing or skin problems. The bed was awful, the room smelled damp, and the sofa looked like it had been pulled from a rubbish tip. The beds weren’t in good enough condition to sleep in, there were bed bugs, and there was no door lock. I’ve attached a picture for reference.

The apartments were decent once I’d found my key and room and got my bearings, and I had a good couple of nights for a very good price. It was a bit odd being left to work everything out on my own, though. Finding it all around what felt like an abandoned building was almost like a TV show challenge.

Really great apartments, clean, fully furnished, and equipped with everything. They’re right in the town centre, just a few minutes’ walk from Victoria shoping centre.

For the price, it was a great deal, especially split four ways for a night out. The room could’ve used a few repairs, but it worked perfectly for us. The city centre was an easy walk away.
