Dwell City Living

We spent six nights here and loved it. The room was spotless when we arrived, and things were quiet for the first few nights. Later, some guests turned up. One couple were considerate and polite, but the other couple were very loud, rude and inconsiderate, and didn't speak English. There isn't any staff around to manage guest behaviour, so be prepared to tell people off yourself, or stay somewhere else if you don't want to do that. If you don't mind having a social conscience, book here. The hotel itself and its cleaners were fantastic.

The location near the town centre was fantastic, and the room was clean. For a weekday break, that was all we really needed, and we had a very pleasant stay. We'll definitely come back. A couple of small things: we prefer firmer mattresses, and since there's a kitchen, a little table or breakfast bar with two chairs would be useful instead of just one chair. The rooms aren't especially soundproof 😜.

The room was nice, but I paid £25 for late checkout that clearly said 2pm. Room service came bursting in at 11, then when we were leaving around 1, we were told we should have been out ages ago because checkout was at 12. Why pay £25 for an extra hour?

My flight got in very early, so I contacted Dwell City Living to ask about checking in ahead of time. They were accommodating and let me in as soon as they'd finished cleaning. The room had lots of space, was very clean and generally quiet. Great stay, highly recommend!
