Leonardo Hotel Nottingham

The breakfasts were adequate, with a good range of choices each morning. Dinner was the letdown: limited options and quite overpriced for what you got. The food was poorly made and presented, and none of the meals had much taste. I stayed for an extended period because of work, and hope this feedback is useful to the owners and others. Though the room was spacious, the lighting was dim and poor. The floor was sticky and clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and fairly spacious for a hotel. I stayed one night and had a meeting in one of the meeting rooms the next day. The TV was huge at 55", though in a weird position. Ventilation and heating were quite loud, and I could hear a lot from other rooms. The location is good, but there's no car park, so I had to walk a bit. Not a big deal, though having the car right there would've been a huge plus, especially with the storm outside.

Breakfast was great, with lots of choice and friendly staff. A big thanks to the team at Leonardo for arranging an early check-in so my wife and friends could get ready for her 40th, including the prosecco. What impressed me even more was how Neve and her team handled the shower breaking this morning. They found us a room almost opposite, so we didn't have to move our things and could still freshen up before leaving.

The only real gripe for me is the pillows. They're pretty stiff and give me neck ache, so I bring my own. Otherwise it's a perfect hotel for a business visit to Nottingham. The rooms are clean and spacious, all the staff are really nice and accommodating, and it's only a 5 minute walk from the station. Breakfast is fine. I'll definitely be back.
