LIONHEART LUXURY LODGE sleeps 10 near Sherwood Forest at Fairview Farm Nottingham set in 88 acres

The animals were calm, well behaved and very good with children, which was a lovely extra. It’s a peaceful neighbourhood, but there are plenty of local pubs and restaurants, a large designer outlet centre, a retail park, newsagents and other conveniences nearby. Fairview Lodge and Accommodation was spotless, newly decorated, peaceful and beautifully equipped. The cleanliness and hospitality stood out from the moment we arrived, and everyone on site was friendly and welcoming. You can tell this close-knit family business takes pride in its work and goes out of its way to make guests happy. I honestly can’t think of a negative. It’s rare for a place to exceed expectations in every way, but this one did. Thanks to Debbie and her wonderful team for making our stay so special. We’ll absolutely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fairview Lodge to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

The farm walk is signposted and goes past ponies, horses, donkeys and Pygmy goats. We enjoyed the walk and feeding the goats, and my son also loved the pony pampering session. It’s a lovely rural spot, with nice local pubs and easy access to great places to visit. My son and I had a fabulous time at the King Richard holiday cabin. It had three bedrooms, a large bathroom and a huge shared living and dining area. The cabin was beautiful, immaculately clean and had everything we needed.

We had an amazing weekend with our three kids under eight. There’s enough to keep you busy without leaving the site. We pampered the ponies, then spent ages on the farm walk feeding the goats, horses and donkeys. The kids had a great time in the outdoor play area on Saturday. The weather was awful on Sunday, so we used the games room instead. Thoroughly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back!

The facilities across the site were second to none, with games rooms, farm walks, fire pits, a stargazing area, pygmy goat walks and pony pampering sessions. We stayed in Lionheart Lodge last week as a group and absolutely loved it. It was spacious, comfortable, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed. The host was fantastic at keeping in touch and was really helpful. I can’t recommend Fairview Farm highly enough. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks so much to everyone at Fairview, especially Debbie!
