There's plenty of parking and the location works for shopping in town or visiting Nottingham, but don't expect extras. I stayed two days. The room was a good size but VERY BASIC, just a bed and shower room. There aren't enough power sockets for modern life, and none are by the bed. The half-size bath is really just somewhere to sit; the shower was okay, but the supplied soap was awful. The only view is industrial sites. Food options are a reception vending machine and a “breakfast box,” which isn't worth £6 per person per day.

There’s a pub/restaurant right beside the hotel, and drivers can use the car park. From the city centre, two regular bus routes go this way, though each runs only about every 30 minutes. The hotel isn't too far from the centre. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, much like other Travelodge rooms. The facilities feel old fashioned, with keys instead of cards.

The reception staff are lovely, and there’s ample parking so finding a space shouldn’t be a problem. For a budget hotel and its price, I had nothing to fault: the bed was comfortable, the room clean, and the basic amenities were there.

We expected little from such a budget hotel, but came away pleasantly surprised after a couple of nights. Everyone gave us a warm, friendly welcome and the service was very good. The room was well equipped, with excellent facilities. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable we've had in a hotel, and we slept really well. We didn't try the breakfast, so can't comment on it.

We came to Nottingham for a medical appointment and used this Travelodge just for one night. Close by, there’s a local pub with a lovely Sunday carvery. The retail park was only a two-minute walk away, and with Christmas coming up it was nice to have a look around.
