Breakfast was generous and really tasty, and the large room was comfortable with a lovely hot shower. It was a relaxing morning wandering around the working farm and seeing the animals. Stella and Maggie, the two lovely black labs, were especially welcoming and loved a belly rub. A lovely quiet stay in peaceful surroundings.

Ethel was so kind and lovely, and the bed was comfortable. It was peaceful, and breakfast was fab. Booking direct gets you a better price and breakfast. Excellent stay, and I'll definitely be back. Thanks, Ethel. Martin

The spotless room and beautiful surroundings made for an amazing week at vale farm. Ethel was great, with helpful advice and breakfast, and the area really made me feel as if I was on holiday. I'm so glad I found this place; it's been a lifesaver. I'll definitely recommend it to friends and family.

This was our second stay, and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The accommodation is excellent, breakfast is super, and the hostess is very friendly, kind and considerate.

We stayed one night for a wedding at nearby Mythe Barn. Mrs. Preston was very friendly, and Maggie the dog was lovely too.
