We've stayed here so many times I've lost count. It's peaceful and quiet, with just the sheep 🐑 and birds 🐦 around. Audrey is a lovely host and nothing is too much trouble. The WiFi problem has been sorted and it's much better now. We'll be back many more times.

It was nice to find a welcome pack with home made sponge, apple juice, milk, eggs, tea, coffee and sugar, along with fresh flowers. Cleaning basics, board games, books and a few DVDs were also provided. The Lodge was clean and comfortable, in a quiet spot very close to the owners' farm. There was hand gel but no wipes. WiFi was available, though unreliable, which made Netflix and BBC iPlayer difficult to watch. There was also a small stack of leaflets about local attractions and local takeaway details.

If you like wildlife, this is the place to stay. A fantastic lodge in its own field, just across the road from the owners' farm.

Just what we wanted for getting away from noisy neighbours and the like. It's fully equipped, and we even got some sunshine. Every now and then, you can faintly hear a train in the background, taking the poor devils to work.

A fabulous holiday lodge, with everything you need. It has 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Perfect.
