We slept really comfortably at the Diggle Hotel and hope to come back sometime. All the staff made us feel welcome, and we enjoyed a few drinks in the friendly bar. Thanks for taking such good care of us.

The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. My wife said her Sunday roast was the best she'd ever had, and the rag pudding was to die for. Everything's very reasonably priced, though I'd gladly pay more.

This has become our favourite country pub, the sort of place we've been looking for, with homemade food. We went for Sunday lunch and it was amazing: both the quality and the value were far better than anything we have locally. The staff were lovely, and there were games to play and fresh flowers on the tables. We'll be back very soon.

The beef Sunday roast was lovely, with all the trimmings. Home-cooked, really tasty, and amazing value. I'll definitely be back.

Roxanne was a star of a host and so accommodating to us tired, smelly walkers. The pub's a charming place with great beer, but the homemade steak and ale pies are the real reason to go. Honestly, you won't be disappointed. If you're walking the Pennine Way, this is a must stop for tired limbs.
