There’s a nice little area with a shop within walking distance, and the bed was comfortable. The room was fairly clean and small, but did the job. It had a small smart TV with a remote, a kettle, and a cup and saucer with a few tea, coffee, milk, and sugar sachets. The shower and wash facilities were half decent, though water pressure was poor and the bathroom sink was the only water access. No fridge, food storage, or utensils. Room service just meant emptying the bins. The room had minimal facilities, and the windows didn’t open while the heating was on full blast. I woke up with a few bite marks. The bedding was stained and the towels smelled, so I was glad I’d brought my own. Reception was cold, and the first thing I was told was when I had to leave. The owner’s reception was very rude, and I didn’t feel welcome.

You’re right in the town centre, with nearby places to get food, but the room was quiet somehow. It’s small, though immaculately clean, and had everything I needed apart from food. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

The prices were very reasonable, and the host made us feel welcome. The room was spotless, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. I’ll definitely stay again. Thanks, John Johnson.

The village is really lovely, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The place has what you need for a night away, but it’s tiny, really tiny. The double bed is 4ft and the TV in the room is 14 inches. It’s like Lilliput has wandered into the regular world.

A very uncomfortable and disappointing stay, with absolutely shocking service. The room was freezing. When I politely asked for the heating to be turned on, I was told to leave if I didn’t like it. There was also a spiteful comment about the price my company paid, as if a key worker didn’t meet her high standards. Please avoid at all costs.
