Arvalee Retreat

The room was so comfortable and exceptionally clean, with a huge bed, dressing gowns, a big TV and a seating area. It was quiet and relaxing, and breakfast had plenty to choose from, including pancakes, bacon, sausages, eggs, juice, tea and coffee. We arrived without warning and Rosemary gave us such a warm welcome. Would happily return and recommend it to everyone. Thanks, Rosemary.

Breakfast was a highlight: I had the full cooked option on the first morning and tried the pancakes too, both lovely. They even made me dinner. The place is nicely peaceful, away from the bustle but still not too far away. Rooms were immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The bath looked good, though I didn’t try the hot tub this time. Hope to come back.

We loved having breakfast with a view of the cows, and the hot tub looked out over a stunning view, with lights sparkling in the evening. Our bungalow was spotless, smelled lovely and had everything we needed. The gardens were well kept and the location was beautiful. Rosemary was so kind and made us feel at ease, even bringing a speaker for the hot tub. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We also had a firepit on our private balcony. We had a brilliant girls’ getaway, and I hope Rosemary gets all the bookings she deserves. Thank you for such a great stay.

We all had a lovely time here, me, my partner and our two sons. Rosemary was such a lovely person and made us a delicious breakfast. And the hot tub was a treat ❤🍾
