Premier Inn Southampton West

It's very close to Peppa Pig World, which was the reason for our stay, and the staff were helpful about suggesting places to take young children. The rooms are clean and fine for a night or two, but pretty standard and ready for a refresh. We hadn't realised the pub was closed when we booked, and knowing that might have made us choose somewhere else. There's not much else nearby.

Breakfast was a nice extra, with plenty of choice for different tastes, and the rooms were clean and tidy. Sharan at reception made us feel welcome when we checked in, she was warm, friendly and professional. I had a comfortable, peaceful stay right through to checkout and would gladly come back. Thanks for a restful break.

The showers are properly hot and powerful, unlike some much pricier hotels I've stayed in where they barely had any strength. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is excellent for the price, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

There was lots of choice at breakfast, including continental options, and the cooked buffet was hot and fresh. Staff kept things topped up and cleared the tables, and everyone was friendly. We had a family room for two adults and two children, with comfortable beds and enough space. The kids even found little bags of sweets on their beds. We arrived late for our one-night visit to Paultons theme park, but there was still plenty of free parking, and the receptionist was friendly and gave us all the information we needed.
