It’s a simple room with what you need, and the city center is walkable. There are buses too, or a taxi for around £7. Mine faced the road, so the steady traffic noise affected my sleep over the three nights. The cleaning could have been a little more thorough. There were spots that would’ve been easy to clean, like the outlet in the ceiling, but they hadn’t been.

We got the last room, their economy option, after booking by phone. It didn’t have an ensuite bathroom, which they made clear when we booked, and that was fine with us. We felt at home and enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the whole guest house looked spotless and fresh. We’d definitely book again if we return to Oxford.

We were really pleased with how convenient The Acorn Guest House was for our daughter's place, and it’s just a quick bus ride to the city center. The room had a big bed, an updated on suite, an electric tea and coffee table, and a small refrigerator. The Covid-friendly check-in and check-out were essential for us and easy to manage. Excellent stay. We’d highly recommend it and will come back. Thank you Jessie.

The location was handy, just a couple of minutes’ walk from everything. Our rooms and beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. Kate was warm and helpful, with lots of suggestions for walks and ways to enjoy a day around Oxford. Breakfast was splendid, with plenty to eat and a good selection. We had a lovely two-night stay.

The studio flat was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed, and its central location made it easy to walk to lots of places. Bus stops are close by too. The staff were very friendly, easy to reach, and helpful. Five stars.
