The building is dated and smells bad, and the room had mould, stains, and bugs. We even found pubic hair on the sheets. It nearly ruined our whole trip. Avoid this place.

The location was good, the room fair for the price, and the service was good. The parking information, though, was a very frustrating surprise. It was presented as parking on the premises, but the spot was off the street near the guest house and only available from 8am to 11am, three hours total. Overnight parking from 8pm to 8am was allowed, but parking during the day was a big problem. The wording wasn’t clear, and I felt it was misleading. At 10:30pm, after I parked in the designated place, the owner asked me to move my car off the street, while another guest was allowed to leave theirs there. It was a strange and awkward situation. Everything else was as expected for the price, with nothing negative to add apart from the parking issue. It could work well if parking isn’t a deal breaker for you.

I could check in early before heading to a nearby wedding, which was a huge bonus, and parking was free. The breakfast was simple but had enough choice and food. The price was extremely reasonable, so I hadn’t expected much, but the friendly staff, large and comfortable room, good furnishings, and nice bathroom all exceeded my expectations. A fantastic stay.

The breakfast wasn’t anything fancy, but it had five cereals, three kinds of bread, jam, butter, fruit, several types of yogurt, juice, tea, and coffee. Our host was really nice and helpful, and our room was clean, with comfortable beds and a fine bathroom. We had no trouble during our stay, despite the negative reviews that had made us hesitate. It’s good value if you don’t want to spend loads on accommodation. The location is good, though it’s a bit far from the city center: about a 40-minute walk on a simple, pleasant route that ends through a park, or 13 minutes by bus. The stop is right outside the front door. The pictures were taken when we left, so the room looks a bit messier than it did when we arrived.
