We’ve stayed at Cornerways many times and had another fab visit while watching Summe 8s. It’s a short walk to the centre, Christ Church meadow and the river. The hosts were helpful and suggested where to park after we checked out. Great facilities too, with tea and coffee available in the shared kitchen. Great stay!

We found it an easy walk into town, and plenty of buses pass by. Tesco Express is about a 10 minute walk away, with a good range of well stocked items at fair prices. For a meal, Duke of Monmouth on Abingdon Road is a good option. The room and ensuite shower room were spotless. They’re small, but more than adequate, and our ground floor room was insulated from the noise on this busy street corner. There are earplugs in the entrance hall if your room is noisy, and it might be quieter when students are on holiday. The shared kitchen and dining area is lovely, with free tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The complimentary breakfast snack bar and packaged croissants were a nice touch. The gas shower took some figuring out, and the water pressure is low, so don’t expect a quick shower. There are only 3 parking bays, so book one in advance. I’d return if I’m in Oxford again.

The owners were incredibly kind and attentive, and even let us keep the car in the private parking for a few hours after check-out so we could see a bit more of Oxford. Our room was spacious, warm, comfortable and beautiful. A perfect stay, totally recommend it! 10/10.

It’s a lovely, cozy, clean place, and the hosts have everything nicely prepared. They’re easy to reach and really helpful if you have questions or need to leave your luggage early. Oxford’s centre is just a few minutes away by bus, or you can take a nice walk into town. This will be my go-to place next time I visit Oxford!

The hosts, Roksi & Nat, were welcoming and quick to respond. The property felt very secure, and the compact room was perfectly fine, with enough cupboard and shelf space and a spotless shower room. They’d left water and snacks in the room, and there’s a conservatory with a fridge, tea and coffee options, and a jar of biscuits. It must be lovely in summer, though it was very cold when we stayed. You can walk to the centre in 20+ minutes, and there’s a bus stop nearby with various buses.
