Breakfast was freshly made and delicious, and the hosts were welcoming, attentive, and happy to help. The room was spotless and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it easy to settle in. Garden Cottage B&B has a peaceful, homely feel and is charmingly kept. Good value too. I’d gladly come back.

Helen is so friendly and makes time for her guests. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was, and breakfast was really great. We wanted to stay longer, so we’ll come back.

Helen knows so much about the wildlife, and there’s plenty to spot in this beautiful setting. We could hear some noise from the main road, but the nearby wildlife sounds more than made up for it. Oxford buses stop less than a five-minute walk away. We booked five rooms for a family weekend around a nearby wedding, and it made a lovely place for us to gather. The beds were very comfortable, the showers were huge and powerful, and breakfast was excellent. Helen was a very accommodating host. We’d certainly stay again.

Breakfast was fine, and you can sit in the garden, which is very friendly to wildlife. The rooms in the garden stay dark all the time. With the windows open, it isn’t quiet because the M40 is noisy around the clock. The room facilities and cleanliness also fell short of what I’d expect at a Premier Inn.
