The staff were really friendly, and the B&B was a handy base for visiting Oxford, with easy bus connections to the centre. The rooms are small, but clean and practical. They even waited for us when we arrived an hour after check-in was meant to end. For Oxford's usual prices, it felt like good value. Breakfast is continental, with limited choices and no hot food like scrambled eggs or sausages, just toast.

Our room at Green Gables was spacious and lovely, and everything was very clean. The host was welcoming and accommodating, and shared lots of useful tips for our visit. There's a bus stop right outside, with frequent buses that are easy to use to get into the city centre. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay with our warm and welcoming hosts. The full English breakfast was so good and filling, it kept us going all day. The B&B is a little way out of town, which actually worked well for us since we could keep the car and take a taxi instead of leaving it in public parking and catching the bus. The taxi cost about £6, less than parking. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone staying around Oxford. Thanks to our lovely hosts. 🇦🇺

Being close to the Thames and a convenience store was handy, though you do need to ride a couple of bus stops to reach Oxford centre. The room was just okay. It was surprisingly quiet despite being beside a busy road, but the toilet was old and quite mouldy, which didn't feel good. On-site service was okay. Email follow-up was poor: after several messages asking for an invoice, I got no reply and had to pay for a long-distance call to get one.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and sorted out a small problem quickly. We stayed the first weekend after the second lockdown, and the place felt exceptionally clean and safe. Our beds were really comfortable and arranged well. We were in a front room but couldn't hear the traffic. Oxford was walkable from here, and catching the bus was easy too.
