Fine for a short visit to Oxford, but there were a few issues. The glass and mug in my room weren't clean, the towel rails had rust, and the hot water in the shower had low pressure, at least on the top floor. I could hear other guests quite clearly late in the evening, so better sound dampening might help. A hot breakfast costs £7, though a nearby cafe may be better value.

We stayed one night before taking part in a charity run at Christchurch meadows, and the location worked perfectly, just a ten-minute walk away. The owners let us leave our car there, and the price was good. We were happy with both the room and breakfast. The fittings aren't luxurious, but the price reflects that. It was an easy place to find on a quiet road. The walls seemed thin, so it could be a problem if the adjoining room were noisy.

The bed was nice, the sheets were clean and smelled great, and the room had everything I needed. It took about 10-15 minutes to walk to the city centre, and the pub across the road served really good pub grub. But the website said breakfast was included for free, and I had to pay when I arrived.

A small, clean and comfortable room at an inexpensive price, with central Oxford easy to reach. I walked in when I felt energetic, or took the Number 35 bus from the end of White House Road to Old Tom in just a few minutes. The shower room was shared, though I didn't see any other guests. George gave me a friendly welcome. Recommended.

We were really happy with our two-night stay this weekend. The room was small but clean and had everything we needed, and the location was great for the city centre. I was worried about parking, but Tony went above and beyond to find us a space.
