The estuary views are fantastic, and having off-street parking is a big bonus. The climb up from town is steep, though plenty of Padstow roads are like that, and it's worth it for the view. The B&B was a real find: very clean, comfortable, well-equipped rooms and extremely friendly owners. I'd highly recommend staying here.

We've stayed twice and would happily recommend it. Breakfast was delicious and top quality, and the guesthouse is immaculate. Lisa and James clearly put a lot of effort and care into the details. With the extra cleaning needed during these difficult Covid times, rooms are thoroughly emptied and cleaned between guests, which made us feel reassured about having a clean, safe stay. Quite simply the best B&B I've stayed in.

Breakfast was superb. The porridge was included, and the cooked option tasted like a proper fry-up, complete with fried bread, which you rarely see these days. Our room was lovely and warm, with an ensuite and a view over the estuary. It had a TV, alarm clock, kettle, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and little cordial sachets for the water carafe. A lovely B&B, and the parking is very handy in Padstow. Highly recommended.

On our last day we went to Boscastle, following Lisa's tip about the farm shop and cafe. We stopped there for brunch and it was amazing, so thanks for the recommendation! We had a cosy ensuite room with a lovely view over padstow, and everything was meticulously clean, even smelling of fresh laundry. James and Lisa made us feel welcome and were so friendly. The B&B was tastefully decorated, and we'd definitely stay again on a weekend trip to the North Coast.

The breakfast delivered to our room in the morning felt luxurious, and the tea and coffee selection was great. Our room was spacious, modern, spotless and almost soundproof, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the view and a jacuzzi tub in the cosy bathroom. Murdo was one of the friendliest, most informative hosts we met on our trip, with good local tips and stories about the area's history if you're interested. Tor View sits on a lovely hill just outside Portree, looking over green hills dotted with grazing sheep. It's secluded but easy to get to and well placed. We drove the two-hour Trotternish loop in the evening to miss the crowds and catch the sunset, then got to the Old Man of Storr hike ten minutes up the road before Portree got busy. This was a highlight of our road trip through Scotland. You have to stay here, and support businesses like this one!
