Whenever we come back to Devon, we stay here if we can. The staff are friendly and always welcoming, and the breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended.

The staff at the amber house were amazing with me and my dog Hatley, and I can't wait to come back. Everyone was incredibly lovely and there whenever we needed them. The rooms were amazing and very clean, the location was perfect, and breakfast was great. Definitely booking here again.

We've already booked to come back next year and can't wait. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to meet our needs. We felt like part of the family, and they were so sweet with our dog, fussing over her and playing with her, which she loved. The house and rooms were immaculate and had everything we needed. There was also a lovely garden where we could sit or eat, and where our dog could play. The food was exceptional, with plenty of choice and a wonderful fresh fruit salad.

The garden has plenty of room to enjoy the weather, and it’s ideal if you’re travelling with a dog. Amber house is also handy for walking to roundham and paignton, with road and rail links nearby. Deb & Vivian and their husbands were lovely, always ready to help and quick to make us smile. The place is comfortable and beautiful, and breakfast was really tasty, made with local produce.

We’d never stayed anywhere that felt this wonderful. The rooms were so comfortable and breakfast was delicious, and our Border Collie was just as welcome as we were. We arrived as strangers and left feeling like friends, thanks to the amazing hosts. We booked again for next year after just two days, and can’t wait to come back. Wish we could give more than five stars.
