Carrington Guest House B&B

Our original holiday park got cancelled, so my friend and I ended up staying here for three nights, and we were really glad we did. Clive and bernie were kind and helpful, and the full English breakfast was amazing. It’s close to the beach and works well for families or couples on a short stay. We had a great time, I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.

The rooms are spotless, the breakfasts are gorgeous, and the omelette with mushroom and cheese was wonderful. Bernie and Clive are lovely proprietors who give you a warm, friendly welcome. The guesthouse is near both the beach and town centre. I’ll definitely stay again, thank you both so much. The Carrington deserves six stars, it really is that good!

Parking is the only real drawback, though there are plenty of other places to park not too far away. Everything else made for a comfortable five-night stay: the hosts were lovely and super accommodating, the atmosphere was fantastic, the rooms were spotless and breakfast was good. Our room had a private bathroom, kettle, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, TV, hairdryer, and soap, shampoo and shower gel. The beach is a five-minute walk and Tesco is ten minutes away. Thanks so much to Bernie, Clive & dog for making us feel so welcome!

The Carrington made a great first impression. Bernie and Clive made us feel more like friends than guests, and nothing was too much trouble. The place has a happy feel, with great music, and it’s near everything. Best breakfast I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to visit again, thanks to two great hosts for a wonderful stay.
