My room was clean, airy and really comfortable, and breakfast was lovely. I was offered more tea and toast without having to ask, and my cooked breakfast was just right. There’s a free WiFi code at reception too. I arrived late, but was met straight away and shown to my room. The new owners are updating the place as they go and were helpful, welcoming and glad to assist. This is a family B and B, and to me it’s a good fit for families or anyone after comfort, affordability and charm in an old fashioned B and B. If you’re expecting five star hotel service for B and B prices, it probably won’t suit. Some reviews complained about seagull noise, but it’s right on the beach front. Others called the staff unfriendly, which wasn’t my experience at all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family, knowing they’d get the same warm welcome I did.

We booked a week ago and emailed five times to ask about changing the room. I eventually heard back this morning that our booking had been cancelled because of a family get together. When I called about my deposit, the lady said she had sent it that morning and it would probably be in my bank tomorrow. She sounded completely uninterested, was very off with me and didn’t apologise. I’m glad we’re not going there now.

The lady who welcomed us was really friendly. Breakfast was small but very nice. The rooms were a little small too, but adequate for what we paid. The bathroom was a bit grubby.

I stayed last night, 12th July 2016. The room felt dated and the duvet was see through. WiFi was difficult to get on the top floor, and noisy seagulls kept me awake from 0430 until 0600. Score: 1 out of 10.

We had a lovely stay at this b&b. The owner was nice, the room was good and the food was good too. It’s close to the town centre and an easy walk to the pier. Thanks, seaheaven, for having us. We’ll come back again!
