Cliff made the difference for me. He was kind and helpful, noticed I was travelling alone, and made sure I felt safe and comfortable. He also accommodated my needs without complaining, and in my opinion went above and beyond. The room was clean and cosy, with an en suite. It's in a great spot and, for what it is, I think the price is decent. I'm a simple girl and this suited me well as a place to sleep and get on with my day. It doesn't claim to be a five star hotel, but I'd definitely stay again. If you're travelling alone or as a pair and want something simple, this is the place.

Cliff was a lovely host, and we enjoyed the tasty breakfast. The room was tidy, the beds comfortable, and the compact bathroom did its job. Free parking was a bonus, and it's a great spot for getting around. We had a great time and look forward to coming back. Mr & Mrs Crowley and our granddaughter Elora 🙂

We were made very welcome, and nothing seemed like trouble for the owner. She let us bring an extra child into our room without charging more. The room was basic, but clean and tidy for the price. Breakfast was spot on, and it's close to paighton pier. We'll definitely stay again.

The breakfast was plentiful, tasty and well cooked, and there’s off road parking. The beach is just a stone's throw away, though the place isn't right on it. Cathy, the owner, and Hayley, who works for her, were both friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I'd happily stay again.

We had a family room for one night, and I could happily have stayed the whole week with my daughter and granddaughter. The beds were comfortable, the owner friendly, and we felt welcome. Breakfast was lovely. The room is near the pier and beach, and if we come back to paignton, we'll book here again. Thanks for a great stay.
