The breakfast was top tier, and the bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up. The room was brilliant, and the staff were brilliant and really helpful. A fantastic place to stay.

On a short walking holiday with my two sons, we stayed here for a night. The hospitality was excellent, and so were the accommodation, food and all the little personal touches in the rooms. Nearby, the Crown pub served a fantastic meal, probably the best pub grub I’ve ever had. What else can I say that hasn’t already been said?

The owners went far beyond what I expected to make our stay enjoyable. Everything was very clean and accommodating, and breakfast had a huge selection of lovely things to choose from. We’ll definitely stay again. Highly recommended. Thanks for a fantastic stay from the bikers.

The location is fantastic, right at the bottom of the high street in Plateley Bridge, so it’s central and easy to get everywhere on foot. The house was clean and well maintained, with everything needed for a nice stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and there were lots of books, games and DVDs to borrow. There’s a DVD player and TV in only one bedroom. Hand sanitiser was provided at the entrance.

I fell in love with Pateley Bridge back in 2002, when I worked on the new housing estate opposite Lyndale Guest House. Last year, my daughter and I stayed the night. Have a look at the other reviews, that says it all. Steve was a great bloke, chatty and friendly. Our room was warm, comfortable and very clean. Five out of five.
