Cysgu Dda – Sleep Well

The free Continental breakfast was a real plus, and the hotel was easy to find and good value. We also appreciated the free parking, comfy beds, Amazon Firestick TV and genuinely friendly staff. The rooms and service were top drawer. A few small suggestions: my girlfriend found it cold, though I didn't, so checking the heating might be useful. Muesli was misspelled, which caught my eye as I'm fussy about spelling. It might also be worth mentioning Green Gate of Wales and Dobby's grave nearby in the guidebook, though the staff gave us good advice about those and other local sights. We mentioned the heating and they took it on board.

The owner came by for a chat and was a lovely guy. Breakfast had both Continental and full English options, with fresh bread, fruit, juice, jams and Marmite. In the room, we had crisp white bedding, a lovely blanket and cushions, plus tea, coffee, biscuits and a mini fridge with water. It suited us perfectly for an overnight stay, and they were very dog friendly. The outside could use a little TLC, though I'm being very picky. We'd definitely recommend it. Thank you.

The ferry being so close was the best part, and the help-yourself breakfast was great too. We slept well, despite a bit of road noise outside. We found the place at the last minute after our ferry was cancelled, and what a find. We'll stay here again when travelling to or coming back from Ireland.

I stayed for one night. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Being able to check in 24 hours a day is really convenient if you're arriving on a late ferry.
