Preseli Heights

We had a warm welcome from the owner, and the beds were really comfortable. I stayed for a night with my wife, daughter and dog. The room had a lovely rustic feel, and the walk-in shower was large. We’d absolutely stay again.

Our ferry arrived three hours late, so it was handy to have clear instructions for getting into the room when we reached Holyhead in the middle of the night. It’s pet-friendly too, which was a bonus for us. We’d definitely come back.

The views are staggering, and the location is gorgeous. We loved the decor and facilities, and could have stayed forever. It was very welcoming and extremely well priced, right up our street. We brought our young dog, who loved it too. We’d definitely visit again if it’s available, and would recommend it to anyone.

I spent three nights here while exploring parts of the Pembrokeshire coast. One morning I thought I saw a piglet wandering around the front garden, though perhaps I’d had too many drinks the night before. The family room was spacious, with a shower, toilet and things for making a brew. There’s also a roomy shared lounge with a balcony looking over the dock. The guesthouse is quirky, and the host and their pets were friendly and welcoming. The pup likes having his back tickled. It’s reasonably priced, and I’d stay again. Highly recommended.
