The views make this place feel like a little oasis, and the whole place has a distinctive South African theme. I stumbled across it while out hiking, drawn in by the bright sofas, fairy lights and smell of an open fire. My friend and I booked that evening's wild feast: pulled lamb burgers, fries and banana cake fritters with ice cream, all delicious and really good quality. The service was so friendly, and the bar was fully stocked. Two courses cost £20, which felt like great value. It's also a wedding venue, with restaurant service on Mondays, Wednesdays and for Sunday lunch. You need to book online at least 24 hours ahead.

The relaxed atmosphere suited us really well, and it seemed the owner took good care of the happy looking staff. We were here for a friend's wedding and had a great time. The bell tents were lovely, the facilities were good and the beds very comfortable. The team serving food and drinks were a real highlight. Barbecue and salads, then chilli with cheese and desserts in the evening, followed by breakfast the next morning, were all delicious and impressive. A wonderful wedding venue.

We had dinner and breakfast here, and both were unbelievably good. For the wedding, everything else was great too: the rooms were extremely comfortable, the beds fantastic, and the staff were friendly, alert and incredibly helpful. A genuine 10/10 experience. Thank you!

Seeing the wild horses was my highlight, though Sunday lunch was a treat too. We spent a week here with our family in a shepherd shack, in a beautiful setting run by a lovely family. There was a hands on farm feeding and learning experience that my 10 year old absolutely loved. After being let down by UK stays, this place restored my faith. The service was fantastic and everyone was so friendly. Marta & Patrick were amazing, and the food was great. We're booking again for summer. Thank you so much.

We had such a fun, memorable couple of nights glamping for our family wedding. The beds had heated blankets, which were just what we needed, and the rooms felt really cosy. The owners and their lovely daughter made us feel so welcome. We'd definitely recommend it and hope to visit again! 🥰🥰
