The building is gorgeous, and room 101 had lovely natural light, a beautiful bathtub, and a comfy bed. We appreciated the iron and hairdryer, plus water and a few complimentary snacks to tide us over. It felt like great value for money, and we’ll definitely recommend it and stay again. The sea was visible from the back window, along with the roof over reception, which is shown when booking the room. We didn’t use the outdoor space because of the bad weather, and the restaurant wasn’t open. Getting an Uber to Cardiff Bay cost only £10/15, so it’s a good base for heading out. Keyless access was easy and meant we didn’t lose anything 🫣 The bedroom door was a bit stiff, and we thought we had the wrong room at first, but it just needed a decent push. The TV was a bit of a faff, though we didn’t use it much during our short stay with that view outside.

We stayed on a Tuesday, when there was no breakfast available, so be prepared. I think the restaurant is open at weekends. There were no staff on sight, but the room had everything we needed. The house is beautiful, the rooms are nicely decorated, and the views are stunning.

Holm House has such a calm, elegant feel, with plenty of charm, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful little touches that made a difference. It’s rare to find somewhere that feels both luxurious and homely. I can’t wait to come back ✨

The rooms and public areas were lovely and clean, and Silures restaurant is well worth a visit if you’re staying. The food was excellent quality, and our waiter gave us attentive service. We’ll definitely be back soon.

A fabulous spot, with beautiful gardens overlooking the sea. The service was attentive, and the food and drinks were lovely. We’ll be back to try the evening menu. Dogs are allowed outside, but not inside.
